Crater - 1st Shift
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Summary

The Crater/Packager is responsible for crating, uncrating, assembling, and packaging materials for domestic and international shipments. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer expectations are met through quality workmanship, on-time completion of orders, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a proactive safety culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Package and crate materials according to established procedures and customer specifications.
• Build custom wooden crates using measuring tools and wood-cutting equipment.
• Uncrate, assemble, and prepare materials for shipment as required.
• Accurately crate and pack medical equipment for both domestic and international orders.
• Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail while meeting production deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding packaging and shipping needs.
• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures to support a safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
• Experience using measuring tools and basic woodworking or cutting equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
