\nThe Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with a wide range of rehabilitative needs, including orthopedic, neurological, developmental, vestibular, pelvic health and functional conditions resulting from injury, illness, disease, or age-related changes. \n
\n
\nEvaluates and treats patients of all ages, modifying plan of care as appropriate. Serves as a role model in delivery of professional services and as a clinical resource for staff and students.\n

\nResponsibilities\n
\n
Essential Functions \n
\n
\nDemonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistance as needed from bed, chair and floor, if applicable. Is aware of and demonstrates safe and appropriate body mechanics to reduce the risk of injury to self, staff and patients.\n
\n
\nDemonstrates respect by treating our patients and each other with dignity and respect, being empathetic and caring, and staying fully engaged with those who need our services.\n
\n
\nDesigns an appropriate plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan. Adjusts the care based on patient response and available evidence.\n
\n
\nEducates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.\n
\n
\nEvaluates clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes of care.\n
\n
\nPerforms examination, selecting reliable and valid examination methods relevant to the chief complaint, results of screening, and history.\n
\n
\nProduces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Process Policy (CTSCP67).\n
\n
\nScreens patients using procedures to determine the effectiveness of and need fortherapy services, if appropriate.\n
\n
\nUses support personnel according to legal standards and ethical guidelines. Monitors the care delivered by support personnel and provides regular feedback.\n
\n
\nIf applicable, completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.\n

\nCompletes objective testing for range of motion, strength, and performance of daily functional tasks\n

\nCompletes daily documentation and charging in therapy EMR\n
\n
\nApplies tape for stabilization, facilitation, or inhibition of movement\n
\n
\nCompletes therapeutic modalities as appropriate including ultrasound, interferential, iontophoresis\n
\n
\nCommunicates with referring provider on patient progress and treatment recommendations\n
\n

\nCompensation and Benefits\n
\n
\nThe compensation range for this position is $36.74per hour - $63.19per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
