A highly respected law firm in Downtown Orlando is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its busy Eminent Domain practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

While prior Eminent Domain experience is a plus, the firm is willing to train candidates with solid litigation backgrounds. Experience in corporate law, public finance, government work, or complex civil litigation is highly valued.

Position Overview

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, document management, and court filings in both Federal and Florida state courts

Responsibilities

• Prepare deposition, trial, and record subpoenas in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Coordinate production and organization of third-party records and summarize findings
• Analyze, review, and organize documents and discovery materials
• Assist with document production and eDiscovery processes
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal submissions
• Prepare trial notebooks, binders, exhibits, and case materials
• Conduct legal and investigative research using Lexis, Pacer, Accurint, Secretary of State databases, and social media platforms
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor deadlines, hearings, conferences, and filings
• Support attorneys with arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a professional, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Litigation Paralegal experience
• Strong knowledge of Federal and Florida court procedures
• Experience with document management systems and eDiscovery platforms
• Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in a Windows-based environment
• Ability to work additional hours when needed
