Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Los Angeles, CA, 90015 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to support clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves direct patient care, assisting providers, and ensuring seamless daily operations within the clinic. Key Responsibilities Manage and update patient information within the EMR system Conduct outbound calls to patients and schedule appointments and follow-ups Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, weight, and respiration Administer injections as directed by providers Perform blood draws (phlebotomy) Conduct EKGs Perform ear lavage procedures Assist providers during exams and medical procedures Required Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (MA) – required 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Bilingual skills, especially Spanish-speaking Experience in high-volume or outpatient clinic environments
