You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, pots and pans, utensils, etc. via both machine-assisted and manual washing methods. You will also ensure that all relevant machines are in proper working order and that the operation is stocked with necessary chemicals. He/she will ensure that glassware, tableware, plates, etc. are stocked appropriately for colleagues' use. He/she will assist in cleaning kitchen areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be timely and dependable.
• Ensure that cleanliness and sanitation standards are met for glassware, tableware, smallware's, utensils, etc.
• Maintain a scrupulously clean, appropriately stocked, mechanically well-maintained workspace.
• Support BOH staff in their duties.
• Assist in preserving a safe and secure work environment.
• Follow all safety requirements and training with the dish machine.
• Consistently meet all best practice standards set in employee handbook and during training.

Education: High School or better is preferred but not required.

Experience: No experience required.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present our menu to guests and answer questions. Must be able to speak English.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
