Accounts Payable Analyst

You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our corporate payables while also helping modernize processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous improvement across the AP function.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Execute and review corporate accounts payable transactions with speed, accuracy, and ownership.
- Proactively identify process inefficiencies and partner with leadership to recommend and implement improvements.
- Reconcile AP aging reports, resolve payment variances, and support month-end close activities.
- Respond to inquiries from branch controllers and cross-functional teams with a problem-solving mindset.
- Manage workload and priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Take initiative on special projects, automation efforts, and tool enhancements that drive operational excellence.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external business partners - delivering top-tier customer service.
Qualifications:
- Education level required: High School
- 2+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, accounting, or related areas.
- Strong sense of accountability and sound judgment
- Experience with Financial ERP System D365 and AI software such as VIC.AI preferred.
- Must be a self-starter who can work well within various situations (from well-defined to unstructured).
- Experience Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
