Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations, operating GE VCT and GE Revolution CT equipment, and assisting physicians with invasive procedures. The role focuses on ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate all CT and related computer systems to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and position them safely for CT procedures, including transport and movement as needed.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction per protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
• Assist physicians with special CT procedures, supporting invasive interventions.
• Document examinations and communicate effectively during handoff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved program.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Maintain valid licensure with the state of Ohio and annual CPR and When Seconds Count certifications.
• Possess a minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
