Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to: Production SupervisorThe work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NCYour role and responsibilities:Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.Reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.Will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor.Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.Qualifications for the role:High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.Why ABB?ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
