Role & Responsibilities In this role, you will: Oversee Labor, Equipment, & Material (LEM) tracking, managing daily capturing, reconciliation, and approvals of all labor, equipment, and material data. Drive invoicing cycles, directing the generation, validation, and submission of accurate progress billings and time-and-material invoices. Enforce contract compliance by auditing all LEM entries against commercial contract terms, rate sheets, and change orders. Minimize unbilled revenue by identifying and resolving bottlenecks causing billing delays to optimize working capital. Develop an internally compliant and auditable approval workflow for payment certificates and invoice payment approvals. Serve as the primary liaison and main point of contact for the Owner's finance, accounting, and project control teams. Resolve billing disputes by reviewing disputed items with Owner representatives to secure alignment and prompt payment approvals. Facilitate and support periodic financial or operational audits conducted by the Owner. Lead a functional team, supervising, mentoring, and training project administrators, LEM clerks, and billing coordinators. Optimize financial workflows by implementing digital tools and standardized templates to automate data collection and reduce clerical errors. Work closely with the developer on LEM system enhancements and customization to increase efficiency. Qualifications / Requirements To succeed in this role, you bring: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project financial administration, industrial billing, or commercial management. Proven experience in heavy industrial, construction, energy, or large-scale engineering environments. Core Competencies Deep understanding of industrial commercial structures, including Time & Materials, Unit Price, and Cost-Plus. Advanced proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and specialized LEM tracking software.
