CNA Assisted Living Memory Care PT 10p-6a-(Saturdays & Sundays)-Shift Diff Available

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. Responsibilities include providing personal care, changing bed linen, ambulating and transferring residents, recording vital signs, observing residents, participating in data collection, providing hydration, preparing residents for meals, maintaining housekeeping standards, answering call lights, attending in-service education programs, fostering teamwork, and seeking out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Compassion for and desire to work with seniors! No previous experience required - two years' experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of various computer programs, including Microsoft Office and web-based software systems.

Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, up to 50 pounds, vision due to computer work, requires interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors, occasional weekend, holiday, evening, or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage, possible exposure to communicable diseases and infections, potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents, exposure to latex, possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens, possible exposure to various drugs, chemical, infectious, or biological hazards, subject to injury from falls, burns, odors, or cuts from equipment, requires regular, predictable attendance.
