Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team in a renowned imaging center. With access to cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform a variety of diagnostic examinations, ensuring patient comfort and peace of mind while collaborating with a team of committed healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear explanations and empathetic support
• Work in tandem with radiologists and providers to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Carefully operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues as necessary
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records in our electronic medical records system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in sonographic imaging techniques and clinical best practices

Educational Background

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent is mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
