After-School Site Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized After‑School Site Coordinator to lead the daily operations of our after‑school program. The ideal candidate will have experience in program coordination, staff supervision, and working with school‑aged children. As a Site Coordinator, you will ensure the program runs smoothly, aligns with our after‑school program expectations, and meets the needs of students and parents. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily operations of the after‑school program, ensuring a safe and structured environment. Lead and supervise a team of staff to implement engaging and educational activities. Build strong relationships with students, parents, school staff, and community members to foster a positive and collaborative program environment. Ensure compliance with all organization and district policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements. Maintain accurate attendance records and daily site report. Collaborate with the site team to implement activities that meet students’ academic and social‑emotional needs. Handle student discipline in accordance with program policies and procedures. Manage program materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate resources are available. Qualifications: High school diploma. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an educational, childcare, or youth development setting. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Passion for working with children. Working Conditions: Part‑time hours during after‑school program hours, typically Monday‑Friday. Requires regular standing, walking, and interaction with children.
