Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend leadership coverage

Compensation: $160,000–$200,000 annually + performance-based bonus

Aegis Worldwide is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturing company in Indianapolis, IN, seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee facility operations, drive continuous improvement, and lead a high-performing manufacturing team.

\n

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Oversee daily operations of a manufacturing facility with 200+ employees.
\n
• Manage plant financial performance, including full P&L responsibility, budgeting, and cost control.
\n
• Lead operations, quality, engineering, maintenance, materials, safety, and HR departments.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
\n
• Improve production efficiency, throughput, on-time delivery, and overall plant profitability.
\n
• Develop and mentor department managers while improving employee engagement and retention.
\n
• Identify operational challenges, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements.
\n
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee performance.
\n
• Lead strategic planning, workforce development, and operational improvement initiatives.
\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably at the Plant Manager or Operations Manager level.
\n
• Automotive manufacturing experience required.
\n
• Experience manufacturing metal components, assemblies, fabrication, stamping, welding, or similar products required.
\n
• Experience overseeing manufacturing operations with 100+ employees.
\n
• Demonstrated experience with full P&L responsibility.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
\n
• Proven success improving plant efficiency, profitability, and operational performance.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; extensive automotive plant management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
\n
