Sales Engineer

Job Summary Our client is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong sales skills with a technical or engineering background and enjoys working closely with customers. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and translating technical solutions into value-driven sales strategies that support revenue growth. Job Description Develop tender and proposal strategies, including coordinating and reviewing key components with headquarters. Evaluate tenders and proposals, manage clarifications, and determine next steps. Assess sales opportunities and create effective engagement plans. Identify, capture, and qualify leads, converting them into viable sales opportunities. Plan and execute cross-sell and upsell strategies, prioritizing high-impact opportunities. Prepare, negotiate, and manage sales quotations from submission to final disposition. Handle contract amendments, suspensions, early terminations, and renewals as needed. Investigate sales-related events and validate findings to support informed decision-making. Gather market trends, competitor insights, and sales intelligence to strengthen strategies. Act as a key link between sales and technical teams, ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and addressed throughout the sales cycle. Skills Required Proven sales experience, ideally within an engineering or technical environment. Strong ability to identify business opportunities and develop long-term client relationships. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently. Education / Training / Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
