Job Description Job Description Certified Medical Assistant | Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine | Patient-Centered Practice Location: Cary, North Carolina Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine group committed to quality healthcare for children and young adults from birth to age 21. We provide a patient centered home for regular preventive health screening, patient and parent education, and timely and appropriate management of illnesses and concerns. We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who demonstrates strong teamwork, accountability, and professionalism, and who thrives in a high-performing clinical practice . This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who takes pride in quality patient care and enjoys working closely with providers and clinical staff. Position Highlights * Full-time opportunity in an independent pediatric & adolescent practice * Work alongside MDs in a collaborative care model * Supportive, team-oriented environment with cross-coverage opportunities * Mix of clinical, procedural, and administrative responsibilities * 4-day work week (M-F 8am - 6:30pm) * Weekend opportunities also available Responsibilities * Assist providers during patient visits and clinical procedures * Administer therapeutic injections and vaccines via IM, SQ, and intradermal routes per protocol * Perform and assist with clinical procedures including vision & hearing screenings, lab draws, & milestone assessments * Provide clinical coverage support when provider nursing staff is unavailable * Assist with flu clinic administration * Monitor and document refrigerator and freezer temperatures twice daily * Preform in house laboratory test in accordance with lab specifications * Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or LPN required * Previous experience in pediatric or primary care required * Strong clinical and procedural skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-based environment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety * Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards Why Join? * Independent practice with a strong commitment to patient-centered care * Collaborative, respectful, and high-performing team culture * Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused practice * Stable, long-term position with supportive leadership If you meet the above criteria and value teamwork, accountability, and exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you.
