Position Information Position Title: Part Time Welding Instructor Position Category: Faculty FLSA: Exempt Advertised Salary: Not specified in posting Department: Business & STEM General Description SUNY Niagara has a need for part time Welding Instructors to teach Welding courses in the Business, Technology & Arts department. Classes are held afternoons/early evenings on the BOCES Sanborn campus. Remuneration for this position is $960 per lecture hour and $860 per lab hour. The position is open on a continuous basis; openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as‑needed basis, and candidates will be contacted when the department has an opening. Typical Work Activities Courses range from Introduction to Welding through Welding Certification. Lessons will be administered according to pre‑developed courses taught through practical application. Essential Functions Ability to work with and teach a diverse student population; speak in front of groups of people; effectively communicate with students, co‑workers, supervisors, and the campus community; develop, prepare, and present information; operate computers; physically perform the duties of the position.
