Children Behavioral Health Technician

Position: Children's Behavioral Health Technician Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Children's Behavioral Health Technician based out of a Boys and Girls Club of the Valley location in the West Valley. This is a direct service position working in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley at an assigned site. Responsibilities include interacting directly with children, staff, and families at the Clubs and using the designated prevention model Positive Action, along with implementing other clinical approaches based on Club needs. The role requires passion for working with children in an afterschool setting, active participation and lead in therapeutic activities, and serving as a liaison for Terros Health and these co-locations. Work Hours & Compensation Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 11:00 am–7:00 pm. Starting at $19.76 per hour, depending on experience. Additional language differential pay available. Duties Conduct the engagement process with families to identify natural or formal supports as outlined in the Arizona Model, Child and Family Team (CFT) process, and Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) for enrolled families. Facilitate CFT/Service Plan meetings according to the Arizona Model and RBHA guidelines to create individualized service plans. Ensure families understand the behavioral health process, the role of CFT Facilitator, and encourage participation that links them to natural or community‑based supports. Coordinate and schedule CFT/Service Plan meetings with natural, formal supports, and system stakeholders. Submit appropriate referrals to clinical outpatient services within agency and other behavioral health providers identified by the CFT. Update and maintain electronic medical records for each case, including Annual Assessment Update, RBHA demographics, Child and Adolescent Service Intensity Instrument (CALOCUS), and CFT/Service Plan. Complete strength assessments and crisis/safety plans with families according to RBHA and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) guidelines. Develop positive supportive relationships with consumers, family, stakeholders, and other Terros employees and Boys and Girls Club employees. Actively lead group prevention or therapeutic group activities at assigned Boys and Girls Club locations. Position is funded by a grant with a predetermined timeframe.
