We are looking for a part‑time Retail Sales Associate to join our CAMP 5th Ave, NY team. You will be responsible for guiding families through our retail experience, ensuring they have a magical visit and want to return. Your duties include: Bring the CAMP brand to life by engaging with families, introducing relevant items, and encouraging purchases. Welcoming every guest with a custom greeting and creating a memorable entrance. Playing with and engaging families as they journey through the CAMP experience. Demonstrating and letting families try products. Customizing personal shopping experiences based on interests. Checking out families at the register and informing them of upcoming programs or other CAMP news. Achieving sales targets and KPIs through consistent commitment to best‑in‑class selling experiences. Building a repeat customer base by creating an approachable, unique, and tailored selling culture. Supporting a positive and productive work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity, and a passion for the CAMP brand. Assisting in merchandising and replenishing the sales floor to keep the store fully stocked. Communicating customer and store needs to the General Manager and leadership for efficient operations. Assisting with back‑of‑house tasks to maintain organized store operations. Supporting the General Manager and leadership team with goal achievement (KPIs). Reporting to the General Manager of your home store location. Other duties as assigned. What is required? Ability to work at least one weekend day per week, ideally both. Part‑time hours, approximately 5–20 hours per week. Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for selling with people. Prior work experience in retail, child‑care, child development/education, or performing arts. Excellence and excitement around engaging with children and families creatively. Desire to be part of a tight‑knit team transforming the traditional retail experience. Patience, warmth, joy, and humor. 18 years of age or older. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Physical Demands Stock merchandise; lift up to 45 lbs and work at various heights, including ladder use. Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, precipitation, and wind. Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, run and walk around the store regularly. Operate manual and electrical equipment on occasion. Remain on feet for up to 8 hours per shift, continuously moving throughout all areas. Kneel or squat periodically when engaging children or stocking shelves. Compensation $18.50 per hour.
