About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*, PALS* Must-Have: Experience in patient ratios of 1:2 Charting experience with Epic Travel experience required Description: Provide care in a Medical-Surgical ICU. A 36 or 48-hour option is available. Two years of experience is preferred. Travel experience is also preferred. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:2. Staff will engage with physical therapy, respiratory services, and other interdisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates should possess advanced skills including arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Knowledge of ECMO, CVVHD, and CRRT is beneficial. Ability to manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction or failure is essential. Skills in managing dysrhythmias and performing procedural sedation are required. Experience in high acuity areas such as trauma and neuro intensive care is preferred. Unit features include 12 rooms and a daily census of approximately 14 patients.
