The Boat House of Lake Country Service Department is looking for an experienced Marine technician to join the team!All candidates are required to have previous marine, auto, or heavy equipment engine experience. Preference given to those candidates with dealership experience.Still working towards your Master Certification? The Boat House will help you achieve that level while paying better than competitive wages.What we are looking for in a candidate:Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance the performance of marine systems.Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.Strong knowledge of various marine vessels, including boats, and other watercraft.Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and customer service skills.Willingness to travel to different locations for on-site services.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.The pay for this position is based upon experience and you could have the ability to make up to $100,000 with overtime based on your certifications.The Boat House offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes medical, vision, and dental benefits, paid holidays, paid time off, FSA, and 401K retirement plan with company match.The Boat House is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in the Federal E-Verify program.The Boat House is a drug-free workplace.
