Fund Accountant

Job Description Our client, an established Asset Management Firm is looking for a Fund Accountant. A candidate with Big 4 Public Accounting and some Hedge Fund Accounting experience is preferred. A BookTemps associate has been serving in this position for 2 years on a part‑time basis. The position has been elevated to full‑time direct hire due to company growth. Ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in a similar field. A CPA or MBA (finance) is preferred. Responsibilities include: Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Reporting Fund Financial Statements – ensure timely completion of US finance mandates including audits, regulatory, tax and other filings SEC and/or SOX Compliance External Audit Compliance Tax Compliance and Reporting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 4 years of Big 4 experience with engagements that include Asset Management, Private Equity or Hedge Fund clients SEC and/or SOX experience CPA or MBA (finance) preferred Excellent communication skills Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
