Direct message the job poster from Glocap Managing Director, Accounting and Operations at Glocap Search Responsibilities Perform monthly financial statement close, including bank reconciliations, accruals, preparation of reporting packages with all relative support documentation Accounting and reporting for investments in alternative investment funds, including hedge fund and private equity/venture capital funds Maintain investor allocations, including for share-based entities, and preparation of partners’ capital account statements and reporting Cash activity monitoring, including entering and reviewing cash journals, daily cash rec, cash forecasting assistance, bank account management for multiple entities Work with the external auditor to provide support for the year-end financial statements Coordinate with our tax director and external tax preparer for tax return preparation Financial analysis, including review of tax accruals, investment NAV information and verification/recalculation of investment management & incentive fees Investors and related advisors reporting on a monthly basis Perform management fee and incentive fee calculations Implementation and documentation of processes to maintain strong internal controls while improving work flow Ad hoc reporting, special projects and information requests as required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred Experience Minimum of 3 – 6+ years related experience Private Equity or Family Office experience a plus Strong analytical skills Proficient in Excel Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Glocap by 2x Get notified about new Fund Accountant jobs in New York City Metropolitan Area .
