Location: Montgomery & Tuskegee, AL

Duration: Up to 12 months, contingent upon contract award


Loyal Source is seeking skilled Plumbers to support the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) at the Montgomery and Tuskegee campuses.

Duties

• Test joints and piping systems for leaks.
• Install, repair, and replace valves.
• Inspect and test piping systems following repairs, alterations, or additions.
• Perform routine inspections of piping, fittings, and fixtures to identify defective parts or connections.
• Disassemble and repair damaged piping sections or fabricate replacement components as needed.
• Repair and maintain toilets, sinks, and related plumbing fixtures.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools commonly used in the plumbing trade.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a plumber.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally .
• Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in temperatures exceeding 100°F .
• Ability to work in noisy environments and wear required hearing protection.
• Ability to work around potentially hazardous materials and conditions, including chemicals, oils, fumes, dirt, grease, and machinery.
• Ability to wear and safely work while using an OSHA-approved respirator and pass fit testing requirements.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 Certification .

Pay: $34.08
