Join a Precision Team as a Dimensional Metrology Quality Technician

In Elmhurst, IL, a precision manufacturer is building components that have to be right the first time—every time. As part of TekPro's network, you'll step into a role where your eye for detail and command of measurement tools directly impact product performance for demanding industries.

Start your shift—either early at 6:00 AM or later at 3:30 PM—by reviewing prints and setting up your inspection plan. You’ll move from part to part, verifying features with micrometers, calipers, and gauges, then transition to the CMM for thorough dimensional checks. With each pass, you capture accurate results, document findings, and collaborate with production to drive continuous improvement.

• Inspect precision-machined components against engineering drawings and specifications
• Program and/or operate CMM equipment to complete dimensional inspections
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T with confidence
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools appropriately
• Record results, communicate nonconformances, and support corrective actions

• Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
• 2nd shift differential: 10%
• Shifts: 1st (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or 2nd (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
• Work with advanced inspection technology in a precision manufacturing environment
• Stable schedules and long-term growth opportunities

• Hands-on quality inspection experience in manufacturing
• CMM experience (required or strongly preferred)
• Blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
• Skill with micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
