A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Support Specialist to provide high-level administrative and legal support to a team of litigation attorneys in its Fort Lauderdale office.

The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience, strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filings, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position requires excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and client service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, proofread, format, and process legal documents, including correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, and other litigation-related materials.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical legal files and update case information.
• Coordinate document processing, execution, delivery, and tracking.
• Assist with state and federal court filings, including e-filing .
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other external parties.
• Manage attorney calendars, time entry, travel arrangements, expenses, and invoices.
• Coordinate with paralegals and other legal and administrative support professionals.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with overflow assignments and special projects as needed.
• Work occasional overtime when required by workload or deadlines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience within a law firm environment required.
• Prior litigation support experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal court procedures and electronic filing requirements.
• Strong document preparation, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively under strict deadlines.
• High degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint .
• Experience with iManage and document management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms is a plus.
