Company and Location AHI agilon health, inc. – Grand Rapids, MI Position Program Coordinator Job Summary This position is not eligible for current or future sponsorship or employer-supported work authorization by agilon health. Applicants must be able to accept and maintain employment with agilon health in the United States for the full duration of their employment without sponsorship or work authorization support. The Program Coordinator must be able to work in a team environment, also able to own projects and work closely with the team and physician partners. Data analysis, creativity, positive energy, presentation skills, and willingness to learn are the primary characteristics for this position. Supports the operations team in the market development and operations of programs. Only candidates located in Grand Rapids, Michigan will be considered. This is a hybrid opportunity up to 3 days a week. Essential Job Functions Assist with agendas, meeting arrangements, and minutes Assist with projects for the Operations & Risk Adjustment team and other assignments received by management Assists supervisor and department with presentations (i.e., provides content editing/content recommendations in addition to standard proofing) Collects and compiles data and information for analysis Composes routine, general correspondence to stakeholders and leadership Effectively prioritize and complete assigned tasks and projects Reconcile and validate data for accuracy and completion Research and provide courteous, accurate and timely response to inquiries by providers as related to Operations or Risk Adjustment projects and reports Tracks and monitors progress against timeline and key milestones Other duties as assigned Other Job Functions Understand, adhere to, and implement the Company’s policies and procedures Provide excellent customer service skills, consistently displaying awareness and sensitivity to the needs of internal and/or external clients Proactively ensuring that these needs are met or exceeded Take personal responsibility for personal growth including acquiring new skills, knowledge, and information Engage in excellent communication including listening attentively and speaking professionally Set and complete challenging goals Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work product Required Qualifications Minimum Experience: 1+ years of experience with customer service and/or office support (Experience working in a physician practice or within health plan operations is preferred) Education/Licensure: Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent work experience Skills and Abilities Team player and exercise initiative in responding to practice requests and concerns in a courteous manner General understanding of the health care industry, ideally the provider relations field Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills Attention to detail; ability to provide accurate data entry Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, multi-task, complete projects in a timely fashion and meet deadlines Problem solving and organizational skills Strong communication skills written and verbal to work with multiple internal and external clients in a fast‑paced environment Mathematical skills: probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions Reasoning ability: apply logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems Computer skills: intermediate-level functions using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Equal Opportunity Employer Agilon health is committed to excellence through diversity.
