What You'll Do

Operate basic manufacturing equipment, including punch presses, grinders, drill presses, and shears.

Perform mechanical assembly and production tasks using hand tools.

Maintain accurate production and operational records.

Assist with manufacturing processes to support daily production goals.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Follow all safety standards, procedures, and PPE requirements.

Learn new skills through ongoing training and cross-training opportunities.

Support teammates and perform additional duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing.

Ability to safely use hand tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, move, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Dependable work ethic and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Six months or more of metal shop, manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience.

Experience working with mechanical equipment or industrial tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing setting where personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Team members work around machinery, moving mechanical parts, and production equipment in a moderately loud environment. Employees should be comfortable standing for extended periods, frequently using their hands, reaching, and occasionally bending, kneeling, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Syracuse, NY.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
