As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Harrisburg, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verifying authorized entry where required and assisting with directions, information, and general support for daily site operations.
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures, assist with crowd management during service disruptions and/or special events, and communicate clearly with passengers, employees, and first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
