Parish Business Manager – Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, Upper Sandusky Responsibilities Human Resource tasks including orientation, payroll, and benefits administration. Financial processes, including paying invoices, deposits, QuickBooks record keeping and report analysis. Full‑time, salaried position with many other administrative duties contributing to the smooth operations and fiscal stability of the parish (including our K‑8 grade Catholic school and three cemeteries). Supporting the Pastor’s decision‑making with good financial insight and recommendations to the Finance Council, School Endowment Board, and Cemetery Board. Qualifications 5 years combined experience in HR, Accounting/Finance, Project management Practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church preferred Excellent communication skills and a solid grasp Coordinator of Religious Education – St. Michael Parish, Kalida Responsibilities The Coordinator of Religious Education plans, directs, and evaluates the catechetical program at Saint Michael Parish, Kalida for children (preschool through 8th grade). Recruit, train, and mentor paid catechists for daily religious instruction of 1st through 8th graders. Develop goals, objectives, and strategic vision for the religious education program. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Theology, Religious Education or a related field preferred. Strong administrative, organizational and leadership skills. Ability to train catechists in technology use. Ability to engage parents and encourage them in their role as primary educators of their children. Youth Discipleship Coordinator (YDC) Responsibilities The YDC serves as the primary point person for the evangelization and discipleship of adolescents and adults within our parish. The YDC will build, form, equip, and disciple a community of five to fifty intentional adult missionary disciples who can witness the Good News of Jesus Christ and the beauty of the Catholic faith to adolescent youth. With the support provided by Live Jesus Ministries, the YDC will mentor the adults who will mentor the young people of our parish to deeper lives of Christian friendship, prayer, and service. Qualifications Two years of work or volunteer experience in evangelization, faith formation, education, or parish ministry. Motivated self‑starter with a strong desire to share his/her Catholic faith through relational ministry. Ability to lead and coordinate start up sessions with teens, mentors, and parents. Finance Manager – St. Charles Borromeo & St. Hyacinth Parishes, Toledo Responsibilities Prepares all payroll functions such as direct deposit, tax payments, tax paperwork, garnishments, salary reductions, in an accurate and thorough manner. Maintains all journal entries according to the cash accounting methods, following all federal, state and local laws along with compliance with the USCCB, Temporal Good Policies and Diocese of Toledo. Provides accurate and detailed reports when requested. Remains apprised on changes to accounting laws for both public sector and non‑profit accounting. Prepares month, quarter and year‑end reconciliations as needed; verifies accuracy of financial/transactional data. Acts as a contact person to collect and share updates on insurance, retirement, fiscal matters, etc. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related business discipline from an accredited college. 2 years + of financial transaction experience, preferably with a non‑profit or faith‑based environment. Requires a high level of computer expertise in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must successfully pass the required BCI/FBI background check prior to employment and every five years. Knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Catholic Church and its mission. Coordinator of Religious Education – Our Lady of Hope Parish, Attica Responsibilities Part‑time opening for a Coordinator of Religious Education. Flexible work hours, including some evening and weekend hours and limited overnight travel. Ministers, implements, and oversees religious education for Preschool through Grade 12 students. Supervises & recruits catechists, schedules meetings & classes with children and their parents, and exhibits goals of leading our young people and their families closer to Christ. Must be able to appropriately relate to parishioners and guests of the parish, while showing respect and compassion in delivery of his or her services. Qualifications Must be a practicing Catholic with knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Catholic Church and its teachings. Willingness to participate in ongoing formation and educational opportunities to keep current on trends in catechetical ministry. High level of computer expertise in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn custom church software. Ability to face situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and with respect for the rights of others. Secretary – Sacred Heart, Bethlehem Responsibilities Part‑time administrative assistant that projects the parish’s vision and goals through interactions with the pastor, visitors, parishioners and colleagues. Serves as a welcoming face of our parish and provides essential administrative and clerical support to the pastor, business manager, and other staff members. This role supports the mission of the parishes by stewarding resources responsibly and transparently. This position works collaboratively with the pastor, parish leadership, staff, and volunteers to maintain financial stability and accountability across all three parishes. This position is full time and will lead all aspects of the Parish and School Religious Formation programs including PSR classes and sacrament preparation. Qualifications Must be a practicing Catholic who accepts all required doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church, with an in‑depth knowledge and training in Theology and Liturgy. BA in Theology, Religious Education, or a related field and/or a certificate in ministry or theology from a Catholic institution of higher learning is required. Director of Music Ministries & Liturgy – Saint John the Evangelist, Defiance Responsibilities St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Defiance, Ohio, is seeking a full time Director of Music Ministries and Liturgy. St John the Evangelist is a Faith‑filled, singing Parish, consisting of 765 families, and 1989 parishioners. This position will include overseeing the entire Music program, as well as scheduling of Liturgical Ministers through MSP software. The position will also include additional income through the playing of all weddings and funerals. The ideal applicant will possess organ & piano proficiency, the ability to sing, choral directing skills, as well as a desire to continue the Congregation’s desire to sing.
