Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL - RN - Pediatric Congenital CICU Location: Denver, CO Shift Type: Night Shift Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM Duration: 13 WEEKS Unit Information: Pediatric Cardiac ICU / (646) Address: 2001 High St, Denver, CO 80218 Floor: 3rd General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 10 Number of Staff – 6 RN S partnering with the PICU to staff Type of staff: Day shift – 1 Charge RN, RN to staff volume, 1:2 nurse patient ratios for critical care Night Shift – 1 Charge RN, RN to staff volume, 1:2 nurse patient ratios for critical care Patient Ratios – 1:2, estimated never guaranteed Type of equipment – Phillips monitors, Med fusion and Baxter pumps EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Cardiac Critical Care experience greater than 2 years per Director ACLS, BLS, & PALS NIH Certification Preferred or nice to have candidates with these skills will be considered first. Peritoneal dialysis, CRRT skills ECMO bedside experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Post-op care – inotropic and vasopressor continuous infusions, IVF and chest tube management, care of the post-sternotomy/ open chest.
