Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an SC or compact RN license and AWHONN Intermediate certification for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Charting via Meditech EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Clean background required — no felony history or licensure actions will be considered

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include maternal obstetric care, well newborn care, antepartum triage, postpartum/couplet care, and OR circulator duties for Cesarean sections
• Provides respiratory support and resuscitation, including attendance at high-risk and premature deliveries
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
