Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders or helping members while stocking shelves. What you'll do in the role Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assist with self-service technology; guide purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve issues; and promote company products and services. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures and hazardous materials handling; and report unsafe situations to management. Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area; stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise; setting up displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; identifying shrink and damages; and securing fragile/high-shrink merchandise. Monitor product quality by ensuring rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and co-workers, communicating progress, and adapting to changes. Ensure club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy and procedures.
