Position Summary The Deal Analyst is a key analytical and operational resource for GGP’s leasing team, supporting multiple leasing professionals across complex retail leasing transactions. This role collects, analyzes, and synthesizes retailer performance data, market rents, sales data, and property-level metrics to create deal packages, proposal summaries, and executive-ready presentations that drive leasing decisions. The Analyst collaborates with the Leasing, Deal Facilitation, and Lease Operations teams to ensure deal information is accurate, timely, and actionable from negotiation through final execution. Success is measured by the accuracy and timeliness of deal packages, quality of data analysis, and cross-functional coordination across the deal lifecycle. Responsibilities Sales Support: Prepare lease proposal packets, presentations, and supporting materials for potential retailers; maintain site and marketing materials for the assigned leasing portfolio; review lease agreements and summarize key terms and conditions. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from internal and external databases to support leasing proposals, presentations, and retailer discussions. Transaction Support: Collect, review, and analyze lease data (rent, sales, lease terms, comparable retailer information) for accuracy; resolve discrepancies; prepare concise lease abstracts for assigned professionals. Collaboration: Gather, organize, and summarize input from property teams on renewals, new leases, expansions, relocations; summarize conflicting deal terms to support resolution and negotiation. Documentation: Coordinate with cross-functional partners to complete accurate deal term sheets and supporting documents; prepare lease deal packets and summary sheets for submission and approval to designated groups. Compliance and Tracking: Obtain and organize required lease exhibits from internal and external sources; monitor negotiation progress through execution and maintain status records with regular updates. Process Improvement: Document departmental processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation of approved process enhancements; assist with rollout across cross-functional teams. Reporting: Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, presentations, and other business materials; support daily leasing team operations, including scheduling, expense reporting, and meeting logistics. Information Management: Maintain complex, confidential, time-sensitive information with a high degree of accuracy while coordinating multiple assignments and deadlines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience. Minimum experience in data analysis, leasing coordination, or real estate operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modeling, complex formulas) strongly preferred. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines. Ability to manage competing priorities with urgency and adapt to shifting business needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex data into clear summaries for leasing professionals and senior leadership. Compensation and Benefits Salary type: Exempt; Pay frequency: Bi-weekly; Annual base salary range: $65,000 – $90,000; Annual bonus: 10%.
