CMM Programmer / Operator - Pomona, CA Pay: $25-35/hr based on experience Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm Location: Pomona, CA Temp to hire position with competitive benefits package including health coverage, paid time off, retirement options, and additional employee benefits. Precision Manufacturing Opportunity We're seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to support a high-precision toolroom environment. This position will develop and run CMM inspection programs, inspect complex components, and ensure parts meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and tight tolerances down to 0.0001 inch. What You'll Be Doing Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using PC-DMIS and Calypso. Inspect machined parts, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and sheet metal components. Interpret blueprints, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications. Verify true position, profile, flatness, perpendicularity, hole locations, diameters, and other critical features. Create, validate, troubleshoot, and improve CMM programs. Maintain probe calibration and qualification routines. Perform surface-plate and bench inspections as needed. Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve inspection and dimensional issues. Identify nonconforming material and support continuous quality improvement.
