Advanced Practice Provider - Psychiatry

Fairview is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to provide psychiatry services in support of the M Health Fairview Collaborative Care Psychiatry model. In this model, Fairview primary care providers (PCPs) refer patients to the CCPS based on diagnostic questions, complexity or instability and the need for a specialty consultation. The Advanced Practice Provider sees the patients for a diagnostic evaluation and the option for one or more additional follow-up appointments to initiate/stabilize meds as needed. Most patients are then returned to the referring PCP for ongoing primary psychiatric management. In addition, the psychiatric provider is available for provider-to-provider consultations both face-to-face and via the shared EMR. This is an innovative, rewarding practice that we believe is the future for caring for the mental health needs of the patients in the communities we serve.

Practice Details:

• 1.0 FTE Opportunity - Full Time
• Monday Friday schedule with flexible hours

• Regular psychiatric consultation and peer collaboration
• Integrated behavioral health model with access to Behavioral Health Clinicians and specialty mental health resources

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
• Current Minnesota APRN or PA licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• National certification as a CNP, CNS, or NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant
• Eligible for credentialing and privileging with M Health Fairview
• Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
