Warehouse Lead Mid Day

Job Overview Warehouse Operations Associate (Distribution Services) at Cencora, located at 345 International Blvd., Ste 400, Brooks, KY 40109. Shift Monday–Thursday 10:00AM–finish (overtime may be required). Pay $23.55 per hour. Responsibilities Spend much of the time training warehouse associates in duties, responsibilities and the safe use of equipment according to SOPs. Observe performance to correct behaviors as necessary. May require use of a radio frequency (RF) device to perform daily tasks. Assist warehouse personnel with the efficient execution of order filling, receiving, stocking and returns. May oversee shipping and general operations (UPS, emergency orders, general deliveries). Continue to perform as an individual contributor, completing advanced tasks and decision‑making with detailed knowledge of the position and procedures. Provide day‑to‑day tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates. Responsible for daily workloads. Coordinate and recommend efficiencies to workflow. Manage inventory, including monitoring levels. Use forklifts, reach trucks and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory. Assist in supervision of the department, including assignment of work and manpower needs to cover associate vacations and building volume. Participate in associate concerns such as reporting and follow‑up to supervisor. Utilize computer system applications for proper operation and reports. Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and state and DEA regulations. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications Completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education; and two (2+) years of work experience. Ability to read and understand English to compare and read product descriptions, names and shelf labels. Basic mathematical skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others. Strong organizational skills; detail oriented. Good overall understanding of DC workflow and ability to work with minimal guidance. Maintain a clean work area to help ensure merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work‑related injuries. Use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions. Basic computer knowledge preferred. Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory. Team player with effective communication and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency operating reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift, etc. Maintain appropriate attendance and production standards.
