Overview
ER Registered Nurse travel position in Columbia, MO. This assignment is for a hospital setting in an adult community emergency department. Start date is 09/21/2026 for a 13-week duration, with a weekly pay range of $2,154–$2,355 and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ER, including triage, stabilization, ongoing assessment, and monitoring of acutely ill or injured adults
- Administer medications, manage IV access, and support rapid treatment decisions
- IV insertion; PICC/Central line management when applicable
- Obtain 12-lead EKGs, interpret telemetry, and perform cardioversion/defibrillation as needed
- Manage airway and breathing support, including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and tracheostomy care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Document findings, interventions, and outcomes; participate in handoffs and care plans for high-acuity cases such as stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and complex respiratory/cardiac conditions

Requirements
- 3–5 years ER experience preferred
- Strong Emergency Department skills with a focus on outstanding customer service and teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED with a high admission rate
- Proficient in IV insertion and line management; PICC/central line as applicable
- Proficient in obtaining and interpreting 12-lead EKGs, telemetry, and performing cardioversion/defibrillation
- Proficient in airway management, including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and tracheostomy care
- Ability to work in an adult community emergency department; minimal trauma or pediatric volume expected
