Optometric Receptionist/Technician

Job Description Job Description El Paso Optical Center is seeking a bilingual, Spanish/English speaking, friendly, computer savvy, detail-oriented Receptionist/Technician to answer phones and welcome our patients. Previous experience in an optometry/ophthalmology practice is a plus, but not necessary. Training will be available for all aspects of the position. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE... WELCOMING PATIENTS, VENDORS, REPS AND OTHER VISITORS TO OUR OFFICE HAVING NECESSARY PAPERWORK FILLED OUT BY PATIENTS, SCANNING OR UPLOADING INTO PATIENT'S CHART IN OUR SYSTEM ANSWERING PHONES SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS USING OFFICEMATE (OUR MEDICAL SOFTWARE) RESPONDING TO EMAILS QUALIFICATIONS... FREINDLY AND COMPASSIONATE ORGANIZED STRONG VERBAL SKILLS IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS DEDICATION TO MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT RECORDS PUNCTUAL WITH STRONG ATTENDANCE HISTORY This full-time position offers medical insurance, vision insurance, a competitive salary range, on-the-job training, bonuses, paid time off, uniforms, employee discounts, meals, and other perks following the 90 day probation period.
