Senior Accountant- Family Office

Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr One of the top philanthropic families in NYC is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with the family’s personal accounting and taxes. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate general ledger records for multiple entities, including investment and bank accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and consolidated reports. Support cash flow management and monitor liquidity across entities. Reconcile bank and brokerage accounts, inter-company transactions, and investment activity. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for entities and family member reporting. Help with investment performance tracking and accounting for various assets. Support compliance with internal controls and maintain documentation of accounting policies and procedures. Assist in estate planning and wealth transfer accounting as needed. Coordinate with legal, tax, investment advisors, and family members to ensure accurate financial reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of partnership and trust accounting, investment reporting, and GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable working with confidential information. Excellent organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
