Position Overview

• Emergency Medicine physician coverage in a community hospital emergency department
• Annual ED volume: 32,000
• Average encounters per day: 87
• Hospital beds: 243
• Trauma designation: Level III
• EMR: Cerner
• Cross credentialing across affiliated sites within the same system is required

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine through ABEM or AOBEM, or board eligible in Emergency Medicine with ATLS and PALS
• Active Texas medical license
• DEA with Texas address
• Texas controlled substance registration when required
