Title
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization

Schedule
- Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
- Call: 10 call days per month

Assignment Details
- Average daily census: 8-10
- Rooms/Beds: 3 rooms / 5 beds

Requirements
- RN licensure: GA or Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Required: BLS, ACLS
- Key clinical skills:
- Circulating for procedural cases
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization support (left and right heart cath)
- Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient responses and manage any complications during procedures.
- Administer sedation and monitor patients throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic systems.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning related to cardiac care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 40 hours (NBO hours determined by contract length)
- Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may delay start by ~2 weeks
- All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start
