### Join Our Team as a Cardiovascular Tech I! **Job Description:** - Assist physicians with a range of high-impact procedures, including: - Cardiac Catheterization - Angioplasty - Atherectomy - TEC - Rotablator - Valvuloplasty - Intra-vascular Ultrasound - Pulmonary Angiograms - Insertion of Intra-aortic balloon pumps and stents (coronary and biliary) - Prepare sterile trays and organize specific equipment for each procedure. - Prepare patients prior to procedures, including: - Attaching EKG leads - Performing betadine scrubs according to protocol - Draping patients for procedures - Support cardiac catheterization nurses in preparing patients for monitoring. - Calibrate and test transducers for accurate pressure readings. - Collaborate with physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. - Effectively load and operate power injectors. - Maintain high standards for digital cine technologies, including: - Storage and retrieval of patient images - Ensuring proper downloading of CD acquisitions for hospital review - Provide essential support for patient well-being in emergency situations. - Assist in the removal of procedural sheaths after patient transfer. - Help insert vascular closure devices to ensure inter-vascular stability. - Manage inventory control by tracking supplies and notifying appropriate personnel. - Assist with the maintenance and calibration of diagnostic and technical equipment. - Identify patient needs, adapting care based on: - Age - Culture - Language - Sensory impairments (hearing and visual) - Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers at their level. - Meet physical demands, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. - Adhere to the standards defined by the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies. **Qualifications:** **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital. - 6-12 months in a CVT accredited program or 2 years in another cardiac vascular laboratory. - Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile operative techniques. **Required Education:** - High school diploma or equivalent. **Certifications & Licensure:** - ARRT Certification - Radiological State License **Schedule Notes:** - Shift: Day, 0700-1730 - Hours Per Week: 40 - Weekend Requirement: Call as needed - On-Call Requirement: Yes --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
