HVAC Service Technician

Compensation: $25.00-$50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Role Overview

The organization is seeking experienced and qualified HVAC Service Technicians to join its growing service team. This opportunity is well suited for technicians who take pride in diagnosing problems accurately, delivering high-quality workmanship, and providing dependable service to customers.

The HVAC Service Technician will troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace heating and air conditioning systems while working both independently and collaboratively with other members of the service team.
Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, replace, and maintain heating and air conditioning systems.
• Apply knowledge of applicable HVAC codes and industry standards to assigned work.
• Complete work accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a professional approach when interacting with customers, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
• Commit to a minimum 40-hour workweek, with overtime opportunities available.
• Participate in a seasonal on-call rotation from approximately October through April.
• Follow established workplace and job-site safety practices.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have:

• Professional HVAC service experience.
• Applicable experience, licensing, or certifications in one or more of the following areas:
  
  
  • Gas
  • Refrigeration
• A valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable driving requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening.
• Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, and perform the physical functions associated with HVAC service work.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry equipment and materials weighing at least 50 pounds.
• A demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
• A willingness to continue learning and developing professionally.
• A dependable, team-oriented approach and commitment to quality workmanship.
