HVACR Service Technician – KC Mechanical

KC Mechanical is Vermont’s trusted partner for the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. From refrigeration to hot-side appliances, dishwashers, and walk-ins, we keep professional kitchens running smoothly.

We are looking for a motivated HVACR Service Technician with a few years of hands-on experience to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and kitchen equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance services on a variety of appliances (hot and cold side)

• Work directly with schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, and other commercial kitchens

• Communicate clearly with customers and document service performed

• Collaborate with teammates and contribute to a respectful, team-first culture

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of HVACR or refrigeration service experience

• EPA and Natural Gas certification preferred (we can assist with licensing/training)

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• A positive, professional attitude with customers and coworkers

• Valid driver’s license
