Store Manager in Training

Overview Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused role that prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position, with 16 weeks of self‑paced, collaborative training combining virtual and hands‑on learning experiences. Responsibilities Communicate verbally and in writing to support and lead your team. Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Actively engage with your leader in key learning experiences to support your path to promotion. Support the store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required). Dosage of a bachelor's degree preferred, but experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor (or other relevant work experience). Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Willingness to accept promotion to a Store Manager role at any location within the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Compensation and Hours Anticipated weekly hours: 45. Pay range: $18.50–$23.88 per hour, or the equivalent annual salary, depending on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
