POSITION SUMMARY

Clean dishes, glasses, pot and pans, kitchen, food preparation equipment, and utensils.

Hiring for Full Time shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.

• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in appropriate storage areas.

• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.

• Receive and store dishwashing supplies.

• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.

• Ability to execute all sanitation and cleaning responsibilities in the dish room.

• Must report and maintain loss of dishes, utensils, pots and pans and glassware.

• Must maintain dishwashing equipment in accordance with department and company policy. • Keep the dish room free of garbage and spills as they occur.

• Help out cooks as instructed.

• Knowledge of where soaps and chemicals are stored and their usage.

• Must maintain proper personal hygiene, cleanliness and uniform expectations of self.


• Must have knowledge of and be able to perform proper opening/closing procedures.
