Location: Chicago (Loop)
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities: Staff Accountant

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules as part of the monthly close process
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure adherence to accounting policies
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances to support accurate financial reporting
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing data and insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications: Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred
• 1–2+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier) OR Experience with a publicly traded company
