Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Summary Morgan & Morgan is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our rapidly expanding practice of plaintiff’s personal injury lawyers and supporting case staff in our Memphis, TN office. The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle liability (MVA) / automobile accident cases in Tennessee, including trial preparation, depositions, settlement negotiations, and in‑court jury and bench trials. Our attorneys receive robust support from a dedicated team of pre‑suit attorneys, case managers, a paralegal, and a legal assistant. Compensation includes a base salary, guaranteed commission, and uncapped commission fees or bonuses, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, paid holidays, and free downtown Knoxville parking. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day handling of motor vehicle accident cases in TN Drafting and filing litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law Guiding plaintiff clients through the case process Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting expert reports and affidavits Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs Qualifications J.D. from a fully ABA‑accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar Ideally 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably in motor vehicle liability Ability to manage a high volume of cases and take them to trial Excellent client service and communication skills Superior writing and oral advocacy skills Equal Opportunity Statement Morgan & Morgan provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
