Dental AssistantPay Rate: $26/hr - $28/hrLocation: Pierce County, WA (home clinic assigned based on residence; floating required between clinic locations)Schedule: 4x10 day shift, may include SaturdaysContract Length: 700 hrs workedStart Date: 08/10/2026Key Responsibilities & EnvironmentProvide chairside dental assisting support during patient procedures.Take bitewing and periodic X-rays.Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and treatment rooms.Operate suction equipment and assist providers during procedures.Support temporary fillings and temporary crown procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Assist with patient flow and daily clinic operations.Participate in the Dental Sealant Program, supporting school-based clinics and preventative dental care initiatives for children.RequirementsActive Washington State Dental Assistant License.Minimum one year of Dental Assistant experience.Adaptable and flexible with changing schedules and work locations.Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.The Dental Assistant provides support to the dentist during patient care and completes the preparation of the room and dental tools/equipment.
