About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a growing outpatient rehabilitation team in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, patient-centered rehabilitation environment focused on helping adults regain independence and improve quality of life. The position offers one-on-one patient care, access to advanced rehabilitation technology, and the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional outcomes.

Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services
• Assist patients in improving independence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
• Assess cognitive, sensory, motor, visual-perceptual, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement treatment programs focused on functional independence
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies, home programs, and assistive devices
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals

Preferred Clinical Experience
Neurological Rehabilitation

Experience treating adult patients with:

• Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI)
• Stroke (CVA)
• Parkinson's Disease
• Polyneuropathies
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Other neurological conditions

Functional Rehabilitation

Experience with:

• ADL and IADL Training
• Cognitive Rehabilitation
• Visual-Perceptual Rehabilitation
• Upper Extremity Rehabilitation
• Adaptive Equipment Assessment and Training
• Home Safety Evaluations
• Community Reintegration Programs
• Functional Recovery Following Injury or Surgery

Qualifications
Required

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist License or eligibility for Florida licensure
• Minimum 1 year of experience treating adult rehabilitation patients
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Experience with ADL/IADL training and cognitive rehabilitation
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

• Spanish-speaking ability
